 | About MeI was born in Long Beach, CA in 1989 and lived in Lakewood, CA until I was about six years old. My family moved to Rossmoor, CA and I lived there off and on until 2012. In June of 2007 I graduated from Los Alamitos High School then continued on to Orange Coast College (OCC) in Costa Mesa, CA. in the winter of 2009 I decided to try out Portland State University (PSU). It wasn't for me, so one quarter later I moved back home and continued school at OCC. In June of 2010 I was accepted to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and began attending classes that August. One year later, on August 20th of 2011 I was married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, Nathaniel. Despite my recent nuptials, I still attend classes at UNLV and am expected to graduate in May of 2013. InterestsI love spending time with my husband just relaxing around the house or enjoying some outdoor activities. My husband's job requires him to be gone the majority of the year, so we take advantage of the time we do get to spend together. I also really enjoy cooking and baking. There are constantly fresh baked breads and cookies in my house! As a kid, I loved to dance. Today, I still love to dance, but have no formal training at the time. Industry Experience I have worked in the hospitality industry since I was old enough to get my first job- may it have been from serving ice cream from Baskin Robbins to helping set up for events at the Hyatt. I have always had a passion for meetings and banquets and continue to travel down that road. Fun Facts I am absolutely obsessed with the Internet Movie Data Base (imdb.com) I have a cat that has one blue eye and one green eye I live right next to the Joshua Tree National Park My husband is in the Marine Corps My favorite city in the country is Portland, OR I absolutely love to learn and go to school I cannot remember the last time I had store bought bread in my house -all our bread is fresh baked, by me! Aspirations
I am looking to finishing college within the next few months- and then begin the next adventure of my life. I am planning to work at a hotel in the meetings and special events department- I one day hope to run a meetings and events department in a large scale hotel. Also, I am looking forward to being able to travel the world and see the many wonders it has to offer with my husband. We have not yet had the opportunity to do much traveling, but I know that it is in our future.
